Use the iPhone Passcode Lock

Yeah, it may be a pain to have to enter your passcode every time you want to use your iPhone, but you know what’s worse than that? Having your iPhone stolen and knowing some douchebag is using it and browsing through your personal shit.

Lock it

One cool feature of the passcode lock is that if enabled, there is an option to erase the device after ten failed attempts to enter your passcode. If you drunk dial it ten times and erase it, no problem, you can just sync it again with your computer and it will get everything back. If the douchebag erases the device, he gets your iPhone but he doesn’t get your stuff.

You’ll find the option to set the passcode lock in your Settings / General / Passcode Lock.

Lock it

Set it now….go!
