So yesterday, I said to not buy anything from Apple because today they’d be possibly announcing some new products. Well they did indeed announce a few new things and I bought one of them, the MacBook Air: It had been long rumoured that Apple would release a sub-notebook and I had guessed that it would…
Recently I was invited to take part in the final leg of the Great Canadian TDI Diesel Tour with Volkswagen Canada. The premise of the trip was that starting from The Maritimes, teams of drivers would spend a few days each driving a leg of a multipart road trip across Canada. Each leg was to…
Likely my last case for the iPhone 4 because it’s awesome and because the iPhone 5 is due out later this year…but I’ve said that before. It’s from the folks that make my favourite iPhone camera app, Hipstamatic and made by Agent 18. It’s really overpriced ($40) for what it is and doesn’t offer much…

Hmmm.. I have the Nikon 50mm 1.8… what’s the advantage of getting a 35mm 1.8?
Thanks John!
It’s just a wider prime…I’m finding I prefer to use faster primes than much slower zooms lately (can’t even remember the last time I put a zoom on my camera). At it’s price point, it’s cheap enough to have one in my bag.
I also have a 50mm f1/4 lens which is my second favorite lens after my fisheye.
