Contact Winter Music Festival 2012 featuring Deadmau5

Last night I had the opportunity to shoot the Contact Winter Music Festival at BC Place for Miss 604. Some of my favorite EDM artists in one giant venue including Deadmau5 (just Joel and his machines), Alesso, Nero, Chris Lake and Lazy Rich.

It was a challenging shoot since the photo pit was at floor level and the stage was two stories above us. I brought my GoPro ‘on a stick’ extension pole and my 70-300mm lens to give me a few decent shots. The lighting situation wasn’t doing us any favors either so with that in mind, here’s my better shots from the night:
