Tech Tuesday: add a real ebook reader to your iPhone & a robot that does windows
This week on News 1130 radio in Vancouver, I talked about these items:
- Popslate: another in a long line of clever iPhone cases, the Popslate adds a 4 inch e-ink screen to the back of your iPhone 5. This screen can be customized to give the back of your phone a unique ‘wallpaper’ or you can use it as an ebook reader that works great in full sunlight, unlike the iPhone screen. - WinBot: You’ve probably heard of the Roomba, the robot vacuum cleaner. Now there is a robot that does windows called the Winbot. To be unveiled in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Winbot can do wet and dry cleaning and doesn’t leave streaks behind while it putters around your windows, clinging via powerful magnets, inside and out.
