The Pan Pacific Vancouver Christmas Wish Breakfast
Later this week, the Pan Pacific Vancouver will be hosting the 23rd Annual Christmas Wish Breakfast on Tuesday, November 30th from 6 to 9 am. I’ve been invited to photograph of all the festivities so will be there for the whole morning.
If you’d like to help support the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, simply come on down to the Pan Pacific with an unwrapped children’s toy (or a cash donation) and in return you’ll get a free hot breakfast. There will also be live festive entertainment along with Global TV and Jack FM will be broadcasting live from the event.
Last year, the toy tower was over 12 feet high and contained 26,000 toys with over $25,000 given in cash donations from over 7,000 generous people.
Staff and volunteers at the Pan Pacific are planning to serve:
- 25,000 eggs
- 20,000 sausages
- 3,000 kilograms of potatoes
- 5,000 croissants
- 2,000 litres of orange juice
- 10,000 cups of coffee
There will also be one hour of free underground parking at Canada Place provided by Vinci.
Along with Global TV and Jack FM’s live coverage, you can also follow the hashtag #PPVChristmas for live updates & photos from the event.
You can also make a donation online if you can’t make the event in person. A winner will be drawn for a four-night stay in between Christmas and New Years at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.
So come down Tuesday morning and get a free hot breakfast just for bringing a toy for a child in need! Make sure you say hi if you see me!
UPDATE: Here’s a few photos from this morning…also check out the post from the Rishad at the Pan Pacific about today’s event.
