Years ago, I built this do-it-yourself poor man’s steadicam (which you can buy preassembled here) for about $20. It was for use with my mini-dv camcorder at the time. It worked pretty well and like that camcorder, has unfortunately been collecting dust in my garage for a few years now. I thought it might be…
I was going to call this post “It’s been One Week…” but in light of the recent issues Barenaked Ladies frontman, Steven Paige is having, I decided to go for something else instead. I’m not going to do a ‘full’ review since that’s been done to death already. I thought I’d share some of my…

This is cool, John.
:)
Thanks Allie :)
That is cool! I haven’t taken it yet, but this footage reminded me of a rollercoaster! Neat you can sit up front and look out though.
I neglected to bring my camera on my first trip (it was spontaneous when I had a long break between appointments at the Cancer Agency, so I have an excuse). But as my mother pointed out after her first trip, the underground section is way more twisty and turny than you might expect.
Mega awesome.
