WordPress App for the iPhone released
Automattic has released (and Apple has approved) their native iPhone app for managing your WordPress sites.
This post was created with it.
Find the app on the iTunes App Store.
Update (not from an iPhone): Here’s a video of the features of the app:
How did I know you’d be the first with this?
;-)
Nice work.
I can’t take credit for being THE first….it’s MY first post using the tool. The screenshot was taken while using it and added to the post from the phone itself.
I like that it can manage multiple sites too.
Hat tip to @factoryjoe for the heads up on Twitter (via @evansims) about the app being out.
Thanks John! Just installed it and published a post.
I just tried it too. Was missing the save button the first time I launched it and then the photo upload feature didn’t really work…

Hmm… I’m having NSXML errors now. Doh! It was working until I upgraded my WP to 2.6 — It’s supposed to work with that version though.
Darn.
@Tanya Check your settings in the Writing tab in your site admin – there is a section for remote publishing. Make sure Atom & XML-RPC options are checked off.
Great Blog…Looking to captilize from blogging as well.
