- Autodesk 123D Design – more advanced version of TinkerCAD available for multiple platforms
- Autodesk 123D Catch – 3D scanning with any camera
- TinkerPlay – iPad based 3D printable robot design tool
- Meshmixer – free tool for editing/repairing 3D models
- Meshlab – opensource model viewer/editor
- Netfabb Studio Basic – free software tool for model repair and editing (Pro version also available)
- Sketchup – free 3D design tool (Pro version also available)
- Microsoft 3D Model Repair tool – free online tool for repairing 3D models
