Science World 3D Printing Demo Weekends

The robots before the doors opened

Yesterday, our 3d printing club, 3D604, finished our fourth day of 3d printer demos at Science World over two weekends during Spring Break. We had 16 printers the first weekend and 13 the second one – a pretty impressive turnout!

It was a lot of fun showing the 3d printing technology to thousands of people during our time there. Here’s some of the photos I took during our time there.

Here’s a little video of the Rostock deltabot printing…it’s pretty cool how it works compared to the other bots (which are still cool, just different) and it was the first time I’d seen one myself in person:

I’m pretty stoked that we’ll likely be back very soon for more 3d printing at Science World…likely on a monthly basis.
